Sunday Brunch is Back at The Restaurant!
Sunday brunch at The Cheshire has been a tradition for more than eight decades. Families and friends gathered in their Sunday best to enjoy a meal in its cozy space. We’re excited that The Restaurant at The Cheshire is bringing this special tradition back, albeit with some new twists. From 10 am – 2 pm every Sunday, they’ll be serving an incredible selection of sweet and savory brunch favorites with a distinct emphasis on the freshest and most exciting local ingredients. They’re even offering a unique assortment of brunch cocktails!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! At The Cheshire, we’re excited about the holiday season and all that there is to do. To make the most of the season, join us for these fun and exciting holiday happenings at The Cheshire:
- Avoid the mall madness and snap your kiddos’ picture with Santa in the cozy Cheshire living room. Every Saturday in December leading up to Christmas (12/1, 12/8, 12/15, and 12/22) from 4 – 6 pm, Santa will be greeting both hotel guests and our local friends. We’ll be serving cookies and cocoa from 4 – 5 pm before Santa joins the kids at 5 pm.
- Take a scenic carriage ride around Demun every Saturday in December (except for December 15th) from 5 – 9 pm. Rides are free of charge for hotel guests and will be first come first serve.
- Take care of that holiday shopping list by picking up a Cheshire gift card – the perfect present for the special person in your life. Isn’t a night spent in the comfort of The Cheshire the relaxing escape we all desire?

Dating back to the 1930’s, the building that is The Restaurant at The Cheshire has served as a gathering place for people wanting to share a good time over a great meal. It is in that spirit that the historic building has been restored and reinvented. After closing for nearly two years and undergoing a massive, multi-million dollar renovation, The Restaurant is a true blend of the old and new. Dark wood beams and stained glass windows live alongside contemporary accents and sleek lighting. And all throughout, little details balance with drama. A giant climate-controlled wine wall houses some of the 1,700 types of wine and serves as the glowing backdrop of the bar. All of the elements come together seamlessly to create a one-of-a-kind dining experience.

The calendar will soon say September, but don’t put away your flip-flops just yet, baby! Every Friday in September, Fox & Hounds will get a little bit foxier when The Cheshire shows Dive-in movies by the pool. The first three Fridays you can set the time machine for 1975 as we chill poolside with the international man of mystery, Austin Powers. The fourth Friday, we’ll do a little sleuthing with the old chap, Sherlock Holmes.
We love hosting families on their vacations, so as we escape to England for Dive-in Movies, we want to see the places you’ve been this summer. From now until the last splash of September, post photos of your summer travels on our Facebook and tag your friends. We’re ecstatic about the news that Erin Bode will be coming to The Cheshire on May 24th from 7 – 9pm for a cool poolside concert on our terrace! Erin is an incredibly talented local performer with a crystal clear voice that exudes soul. Plan on joining us for this special night and take in the music with cocktails and friends. This is what summer was made for!
Summer is arguably the best time of year in St. Louis because of the host of outdoor activities that suddenly become available. We obviously look forward to Cardinals baseball, but St. Louis residents and travelers can also take advantage of summer traditions like outdoor dining, shows at the Muny, trips to the Saint Louis Zoo and Shakespeare in the Park, to name a few.
